T-shirt graphic designed for Triple j and The Wiggles to commemorate their Hottest 100 winning cover of Tame Impala's song "Elephant" for Triple j's 'Like A Version' segment.
The Brief
The ABC sought a design that would bridge the vibrant world of The Wiggles with the psychedelic soundscapes of Tame Impala, all while referencing the iconic song “Elephant.”
All parties were thrilled with my design, which captured the essence of the brief while also paying tribute to each Wiggle involved in the cover. I was also able to include tributes to the famous Triple j drum (being played by the yellow elephant) and the iconic wiggle logo shape which forms the trippy platform that the characters are standing on.
The design was a huge commercial success, limited to a couple thousand units and selling out in record time through Triple j's web-store. This is definitely one of my proudest career moments.
