Warm-Up Event
Campaign
This marketing campaign was designed to promote the new Global Challenge Warm-Up Event, a service that was offered to give Virgin Pulse clients a practice run before delving into the complete Global Challenge programme.
I designed the campaign from initial sketches through to high-fidelity finished artwork and digital marketing assets, in accordance with Virgin Pulse brand guidelines and communication style.
The Concept
Virgin Pulse comms were known for their playful nature, often resembling a classic motivational poster but with a humorous twist. Using this as inspiration, I came up with the idea of promoting the warm-up event by depicting an astronaut using a children's playground rocket ride as a warm-up before jumping into the real rocket depicted in the background.
This use of the rocket also meant we could create some cool animated GIF's to run as Google ads and social media posts, leading to higher engagement compared to standard static imagery.
